Kanye West showed love to his hometown of Chicago on Valentines Day (Feb. 14), during NBA All-Star weekend.
Last Friday, West debuted his latest shoe from his popular Yeezy line, the YZY QNTM.
While the shoe was scheduled to launch on Feb. 16 for $250. Kanye’s team gave away ‘truckloads’ of the new sneaker—two days early to young Chicagoans.
Pictures and videos began circulating of the secret tank-like sherps used in the “Closed on Sunday” video parked in different locations across the city distributing the shoes.
One video even showed Quavo in one the trucks handing out Yeezy’s to the excited teens.
West also performed his famous Sunday Service at UIC before the big game took place at the United Center that evening.
Kanye was spotted sitting court-side wearing his new sneakers, accompanied by wife Kim Kardashian West.
