Lonzo Ball Gives Teammates X-Boxes and Surprises Local School with Food and Gifts

Lonzo was traded to the New Orlean Pelicans this season but rather than being bitter, the former Laker has been a Ball of joy!
The week leading up to Christmas, the NBA star surprised his teammates with a special gift for the holidays. Awaiting at each player’s locker was a specialized surprise in the form of personalized X-Boxes.
Each X-Box featured the player’s number on a hard case. The cameras caught the players grateful reactions, as they thanked him with hands shakes and hugs. One of those big hugs came from Rookie star— Zion Williamson.
Zion initially joked that Ball was not the one responsible and thanked guard Jrue Holiday for the console—but he quickly walked across the locker room to show his gratitude as well.
The spirit of giving didn’t stop there. Lonzo also traveled to a local school, Bridge School—where he surprised the NOLA students! The NBA highlighted the story on their site and featured photos of Lonzo sharing a meal and showering the students with special gifts for the holiday.
