Many celebrities have began showing their support to the Bahamas relief efforts—in the wake of Hurricane Dorian.
Tyler Perry and Rihanna have both made commitments to help out the island in major ways, and now, rapper/ actor Ludacris has added himself to the list.
Luda made an announcement earlier this week that he will donate $100,000 from the proceeds of his annual Luda Day Weekend to help with the relief efforts in the Bahamas.
LudaDay Weekend, is an annual Labor Day event he hosts in his hometown of Atlanta. Ludacris has done the star-studded event since 2005.
Following the city wide event, he took to Instagram and posted: “Over 100K raised over the weekend!! Thank you to all who showed up and showed out!! Now watch me work.”
Luda, also known as Chris Bridges is no stranger to Philanthropy. His organization The Ludacris Foundation just celebrated their 10 year anniversary.
