Prior to his tragic passing, Nipsey announced that Puma and his brand The Marathon created a collaborative collection that would release in Fall 2019. He was already been an active endorser for the brand, appearing in several campaigns.
To honor Neighborhood Nipsey, Puma has decided to go forth with releasing the posthumous collaboration. To make the partnership even more fitting, Puma will also have charity activations to continue the work Nipsey was doing in his community.
Brand and Marketing Global Director Adam Petrick, stated: “We’ll work with his family and we’ll support his kids. We’ve also got some charity activations that we’ll do to support what he was doing in Crenshaw, and trying to continue the work that he was doing through his foundation.”
